ilenia and i went to the white flight show. oh yeah and you never posted your blog and picture about it you still have to do that.

today i had my art history test. me and ren and edmond studied at amies and george met up with us for the last 30 minutes. edmond got us free sandwiches from aladdins cafe for after the test- they were so yummy! vegetarian falalalawfull sandwiches and rice and salad. then we went to rens to smoke some illegals out of an apple/banana bong to celebrate the end of our cateforis-ful semester. now im at the lab and i want ilenia to go with me to get boxes and i need to start cleaning out my art studio.

the girls (=jenna neesa) are here so soon, no puedo esperar! were going to have so much fun with all of us! woot woot

Hi theres not much tew write about except that

1. this is the last week of school- god yes

2. yesterday, cinco de mayo, was my dads 56th birfday

3. me and jennifer and jamie and jeanine found an AWESOME house at 20th terr and Ousdal (ooze-doll?) with a small pond and a greenhouse and compost and we can have a garden and chickens too. oh yeah and a workspace for painting. the house is really sunny and spacious and cute cute cute as hell. oh yeah and theres a big pink magnolia tree in the backyard.

4. brock goes to la the 15th at the earliest and ilenia is flying out the 21st and i'll slowly be moving to the moat house to, yes stephik and eren, shit in a bucket over the summer. i'll be living with a dog again for a while which will be nice. oh yeah and once we move to 20th and ooze in august i'm going to get a pet rat- any suggestions on the name?

5. i'm going to get another job for the summer so i dont have to be a merc-slave. i'm thinking a waitressing job where i can practice my spanish. cielito lindo?

some of these updates arent such new news but i havent posted forever. does anyone really even read my blogs? anyway i love you all and i'm glad to see you who are coming back to lawrence soon. jenna, neesa, when do you get back?

Good ol' memories:

Don Chilitos

Birthday dinner with the fam last night. Ilenia came with me. We went to Don Chilitos, a Messycan restauraunt in Shawnee, but actually more like a cafeteria... mexi-style. Then there's a big vat of chips and a smaller one of sopapillas that you retrieve yourself but you can get as much as you want. Sopapillas replaced my birthday cake, but it didn't have any candles.


My sister and Spencer gave me $50 and one of Spence's homemade birthday cards. I asked them for money instead of gifts so his card was all about how unhappy this makes, for example, a "blowout", or noisemaker:

The noisemaker said something like "I owe you no favors since you chose money over merriment and laughter"

My dad, stepmom, and two stepsisters got me the following plain shirts:

• orange
• blue

And my dad said they'll get me a new bike. Also, my Uncle Bing got me a KU National Champions t-shirt. He told me to wear it with pride. Monday night ... well, thats another blog. Lets just say... nevermind we wont say anything.

Ilenia was pretty sick still so we didn't stay long after dinner, but she got to meet Uncle Tommy, Uncle Bing, and Aunt Tutti. And ate some brown guac.

I peed on a carpet and used a watch for a pad in my dream this morning

Don't watch Dracula Returns from the Grave. It's not worth it. Ilenia needs to quit renting sequels. Jenna I miss you and I hope that you're getting properly settled in Chicago. How are Bert and Ernie? Or... what's his name? It's been so long I forgot already... I moved into your room and I love it, even though I miss you. We should've lived in that room together. It's so damn sunny and spacious!

Moving Brock in was the strangest move I've ever taken part of. It took one trip in my tiny Tercel, with Ilenia, Brock and I all in the car. It probably lasted less than 45 min and only that long because Clark kept giving away his art to us and his dad stood around not acting like a dad. It was funny. Also, my Tercel broke again.

Friday morning it didn't start at 7 when I had to be at work so I had to wake Stephen up to give me a ride. Later that day it worked fine and all day Saturday no problem then yesterday again it pathetcially gurgled instead of starting. Stephen suggested rocking it back and forth because that works for Victoria, but I guess the Tercel is a little bit more stubborn. Also, I just found out that the tags expire today anyway so I guess I shouldn't drive her even if she works.

Ok, off to painting!

Back in black

We're all here again. Everything is going to be so different now, it already feels so different. You know that feeling when you've been traveling for a while then you come back home and everything looks different, even though its exactly the same? Our apartment looks almost new to me again, and Jenna's stuff being gone probably helps with that one.

I'll post El Salvador pictures soon. It's hard to just talk/write about it. "How was your trip?" "Shit, well, do you have a few hours?" I don't know where to start so maybe pictures will get things rolling.

Paranoia

It's 3:15 on Saturday... I mean Sunday in the morning I guess. Daylight savings also. I stayed home to work on my directed studies work, but I didn't do that plus I can't sleep. I don't know what my prob is, I have to go to Spring Hill tomorrow morning at ... 7am? I mean today morning.

March 16: Jenna and Sally go to El Salv
March 25: " " " get back
March 26, 27 or 28 we will have a goodbye potluck for Jenna and the boys :(
March 29: Jenna, Bert and Jasper move to Chicagah
April 1: Brock moves in
sometime between here semester ends and Ilenia gradumacates, congratumacations Ilenicacion!
June 1: 1220 Louisiana #1 is no more (except for in our hearts)
